This video is about the design/build studios at the Landscape Architecture department and how they are turning “garbage into gardens”. The projects are guided by research about creating safe environments, the importance of direct exposure to nature for children’s physical, mental and spiritual development, and the use of therapeutic play to address negative effects of disaster, poverty and displacement.
